I have always wondered how the taste, colour and intensity of your rooibos is so amazing and can never be achieved from using rooibos teabags. Once we started drinking your product, my daughters will not easily drink the previous tea bag rooibos that they used to drink before. We are really hooked to this product…please continue to keep your high standards with the product. My girls had their favourite cereal Rice Krispies taken away lately and it feels like the end of their world so please continue to produce this amazing tea.

Red Espresso is never going to replace coffee. But it does allow people who aren’t drinking coffee to enjoy the café lifestyle. And it gives seasoned coffee drinkers like me a great after-lunch coffee alternative that bears all the hallmarks of a proper espresso-based beverage, bar the caffeine.

This is one of few times in my life I buy something that truly delivers on what it sells. I love coffee, in particular I have a bit of an obsession with a daily latte. But after dealing with an ulcer on and off for a few years, it was time to kick the habit. Of all the things I had to cut in my diet, I admit my latte topped the list of the hardest things to cut (even over wine)! In searching online for ideas on alternatives, I randomly came across the Redespresso site and purchased it through Amazon. I was so unbelievably excited when I made my first cup using a stove top espresso maker! After whipping up some frothed milk and making my fake latte, I as blown away by how incredibly delicious it was!! The flavor, the texture, everything about it was just about as close to a latte as I could get, in fact even tastier, in my opinion. Anyways, people usually love to complain , so I wanted to take the time to say thank you for what you do! I’m excited to share this with my family!

My daughters do not consume fruit juices or cold drinks. They have only had water, rooibos and a few home made herbal teas from a very young age and were quite particular about which rooibos they would drink. They preferred five roses and one or two others when it came to the tea bags but once I started brewing red espresso for them, they say that the tea bag versions are too weak and that it doesn’t even taste like Mum’s rooibos unless they get a red espresso cappuccino at a restaurant…then they are happy. It is our go to drink for any ailment they may complain about. I do hope that with rising prices of everything that we will always be able to afford our red espresso as it is packed with goodness that you can feel. I have to get a bigger brewing pot soon for the whole family.

I first had this when my mom bought me a “Red Cappuccino” from a Woolworths cafe. I was intrigued as I had honestly never had this or even heard of a Cappuccino made South Africa’s very own rooibos plant. Well calling it delicious does not even begin to describe the taste, mixed with honey and cinnamon, this drink has a reminder of coffee without the accompanying jitters and anxiety after having a cup or two too many. The taste is smooth and velvety, almost creamy and can easily replace coffee any day. 5/5 would drink again.

So I have made and enjoyed it in the evenings as a Rooibos cappuccino. Delicious. And great for people who simply do not like coffee and otherwise always have to depend only on a teabag in the cup. I will buy again.
