An antioxidant-rich, highly nutritious smoothie bowl with tropical flavours, the Rooi-Boss is definitely a great way to start your day! Developed by our friends at the Sailing Club Mui Ne Resort in Vietnam, some of the toppings have a definite Asian influence. Enjoy!
You can make the Rooi-Boss smoothie bowl with our red espresso® ground Rooibos tea or with our Rooibos Matcha Latte Mix.
Ingredients
- 80 ml red espresso® Rooibos
- 400g mango
- 40g raspberry
- 5g goji berry
- 10g dates
- 1 tsp Greek yogurt
Topping ingredients
- Granola
- Mango
- Coconut milk chia mix (30ml coconut milk + 10g chia seeds) – optional
- Dried roses – optional
- Mint leaf to garnish
Instructions

Prepare red espresso® ground Rooibos – as you would coffee – using your coffee appliance. Measure 80ml in a glass and add into a blender:
- OR mix 6g (one heaped teaspoon) of our Rooibos Matcha Latte Mix in 80ml hot water. Stir well and add into a blender
Chop the mango into smaller pieces and add all of the ingredients into the blender.
- Blend until smooth consistency
- Place in bowl and garnish with top ingredients
