Matcha is made from pure green tea leaves that have been stone ground into a fine powder. Because of the way its ground, drinking it provides the same health benefits you would get from actually eating a whole green tea leaf!
Matcha has been used for centuries in Japan as a superfood for its powerful antioxidants and amino acids that help boost immunity, energy and concentration. In latte form it tastes amazing!
At home
- Add 5g red espresso® Matcha Latte Mix to your cup
- Add 30ml hot water and mix well to combine the ingredients
- Heat up your milk or dairy alternative. Pour into your cup and stir well
- Add a dash of raw honey if you prefer it sweeter
Ideal for smoothies, breakfast bowls and baking too!
In the café
- Add 6g red espresso® Matcha Latte Mix to a 250ml (8oz.) cup
- Add 30ml hot water and mix well to combine the ingredients
- Top up with 220ml freshly steamed milk or your dairy alternative of choice
- Alternatively, pour 250ml milk (or your preferred dairy alternative) into a milk jug, add 6g red espresso® Matcha Latte Mix and steam together to blend the ingredients
