Make a Rooibos red cappuccino® at home
Using our red espresso® ground rooibos:
Ingredients
- red espresso® ground Rooibos
- Milk/milk alternative
- Cinnamon
- Honey
Instructions
- Ensure your espresso machine is clean
- Fill your double basket with 12g (2tbsp) red espresso® ground Rooibos
- Ensure red espresso® Rooibos is level in the basket. No tamping required.

Manually pre-infuse: Start expressing and stop when the pour starts
4.1. Wait 10 seconds (Pre-infusion helps draw out flavour and a better crema) - Express double shot red espresso® Rooibos (60ml/oz.)
- Add equal parts steamed and foamed milk
- Serve with honey and cinnamon
Helpful tip
Always remember to flush the shower head in between making your favourite red espresso® drink and coffee to ensure either one is not tainted by their individual flavours.
Using our Rooibos Matcha Latte Mix – microground red espresso® Rooibos:
Our caffeine-free Rooibos Matcha Latte Mix is made from only the highest quality red espresso® Rooibos tea that has been finely ground into a powder and blended with a hint of organic coconut blossom sugar for sweetness.
Ingredients
- red espresso® Rooibos Matcha Latte Mix
- Milk/milk alternative
- Cinnamon
- Honey
Instructions
- Add 6g (1 heaped teaspoon) and 30ml hot water to your 240ml/8oz cup and mix well.
- Top up with freshly steamed milk or dairy alternative and serve.
* Alternatively pour 240ml milk or dairy alternative into your milk jug, add the 6g powder and steam to blend the ingredients.
Please note: Our ground Rooibos is not suitable for use in super automatic machines or bean-to-cup machines
